With a spacious lobby downstairs from the venue, this entire wing lends itself well to the luxury of exclusive booking.
This was a special place to Takeuchi Seiho, who used it as his atelier and spent the greatest part of his time in it, and the room retains the modern sensibility it had when it was built in 1929.
The latticed windows sparkling with natural light and the ornate chandeliers remain just as they were then. It's a party venue unique to The Sodoh that recalls the Kyoto of the early Showa period.

We use restaurants several times including affiliated stores. This is the third banquet use.
The approach to the banquet hall and the atmosphere of the garden are good, and the venue is also nicely decorated, and we will repeat it in a shop that can be liked not only by female staff but also by bosses. The service is also polite, so you can rest assured whether you are casual or clever.
The food is always very delicious and I really like "foie gras sushi". The food from the open kitchen is always fresh and you can feel the live feeling. I would like to use it again.

- Until when will the number of people be determined?
- Please confirm the number of reservations at least 14 days in advance.
Please inform us about the change of 2 or 3 people by 17:00 2 days before the implementation date.
For subsequent cancellations, we will charge the full amount. - Is there a shuttle bus service?
- We do not have a dedicated bus for our shop, so we ask you to visit us by public transportation.
If you are traveling as a group, we will arrange buses (necessary cost), so please do not hesitate to contact us. - Is there a private parking lot?
- Sorry for the inconvenience, but there is no private parking available. If you come by car, we will guide you to the nearest coin parking.
- Which is the nearest station for public transportation?
- Please use "Higashiyama Yasui" when using the city bus. (3 minutes walk from getting off)
Please use “Kawaramachi Station” when using Hankyu Railway. (13 minutes walk from Exit 2)
When using Keihan Railway, please use “Gion Shijo Station”. (10 minutes walk from Exit 6)
