Service staff attractiveness to work

THE VOICES
staff voice

Manners and communication offer great learning opportunities
For my first part-time job, I chose this restaurant because the staff seemed really friendly.
I wanted to work in a respectable environment and was attracted to the idea of learning adult etiquette and manners, and I felt that learning these things while I was a student would be useful in the future.
When I actually started working, my perspective and values broadened as I interacted with many people, and I naturally acquired customer service manners and communication skills. In an environment where I could feel my own growth, my confidence grew.

Service in your dream Italian restaurant
I have been interested in Italian food since childhood, and started working at THE SODOH HIGASHIYAMA KYOTO, which is close to my university.
When I visited the restaurant for the first time, I saw the staff serving food and wine with lovely smiles on their faces, and I thought to myself, "I want to work like that too!"
Working at this restaurant gave me valuable experience that I could not have gained from a regular part-time job.
For example, providing fine cuisine, hosting special occasions, and considering how to offer services tailored to each individual customer have broadened my horizons and values.
By providing service while thinking about what will make our customers happy, you will naturally acquire customer service manners and communication skills, and it is an environment where you can constantly feel your growth.

The desire to make people happy fosters growth and fulfillment.
I like thinking about what makes my friends happy, and I have been looking for a job where I can utilize that skill in service.
I chose this restaurant because it is close to my university and I wanted to learn higher-level customer service skills by working at a prestigious restaurant.
I was particularly attracted to the historical buildings and stylish spaces, and found significant value in working in Kyoto's traditional atmosphere.
I was so impressed by the refined service and atmosphere of the staff at the Tokyo branch that I decided to work at the Kyoto branch.
Since I started working here, I have experienced growth in various aspects through my daily work, not only in my choice of words and attitude, but also in my ability to see the bigger picture of my surroundings and how to provide detailed service that is tailored to each individual customer.
I feel a deep sense of fulfillment in my work, as I am now able to provide services with confidence in an environment where I can experience true growth.
