Since the launch of its predecessor, the Kyoto Japanese Sweets Research Institute, in 2017, Okashi Sodo has been supported by many customers. However, we have decided to close the shop on Thursday, January 29, 2026.
Since our rebranding to Okashi Sodo in 2018, we have always pursued the question of "how we can combine the best of Japanese and Western cultures to deliver new value."
The thoughts and experiences we have accumulated so far, and above all, the time we have spent with our customers, are invaluable assets to us. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who has supported us to this day, and to all our colleagues who have shared the opportunity to take on new challenges.
Although there is only a short time left, we will continue to do our best to serve our customers until our final business day, and we intend to conclude our business on a positive note, in keeping with the spirit of Okashi Sodo, a renowned confectionery shop.
